Casa Poli: Awesome value for real Asturian food

Casa Poli was recommended by my husband's cousin who was born and raised in Asturias. The restaurant has two floors and many, many rooms. Once you enter, you realize you are in the center of a courtyard, and there are plants and ivy growing all along the stone walls. You will hear people chattering, some children misbehaving, laughter, the bubbling sound of poured cider and the like. We waited maybe 7 minutes for a table, and meanwhile we had sidra at the bar.Most of the food on the menu were meat, although they had various tapas and raciones that included seafood, vegetables, salad and cheese. Everything we tried there was quite good, including the homemade desserts. It wasn't high cuisine, it was more like food that sticks to the ribs.The best thing about Casa Poli is the value! The prices of the dishes are very reasonable and the portions are generous. The service was impeccable and...
