I recomend U for sure to do that. Take a walk in the promenade next to the sea. There are lot of bars. In many of them U'll see menu only in german because Andraitx is a tipycal place where germans stay and even live here.

The fiestas of Sant Antoni d'Andratx are held on the Sunday after January 17. The showy parade that makes it way through the village streets was recovered in the 1970's and is of special interest. The municipal band, horseback riders and crowds of people decked out in typical costumes accompany the spectacular floats, which are prepared by village residents, along the route.
On Easter Monday, the residents of Andratx, S'Arracó and Sant Elm go on a pilgrimage to the tower of Sant Elm. In addition to the traditional mass, there are folk dance performances, games for children and adults and samples of typical products, such as coca de trempó (pizza-like pastry with vegetable/and or fish toppings) and panades (meat and/or vegetable pies). In recent years, the preparation of a paella large enough for the whole village has become a popular custom.
On June 29, Sant Pere's day, fishermen undertake a singular maritime procession around the waters of Port d'Andratx after high mass. Several different acts, the most interesting of which is the verbena or evening street party, complete the celebrations.
Another maritime procession is dedicated to patron saint of sailors, the Mare de Deu del Carme. On July 16, the statue of the Virgin is taken from the church to the port, where boats with lively decorations await it. The statute leads the retinue, followed by a band and the rest of the vessels.
On August 28, Sant Agustí's day, the fiesta of Sant Crist is held in S'Arracó, during which goigs, poetic melodies dedicated to a saint, are sung and a wide array of sports and cultural activities take place.
On September 8 in this same village, the statue of the Mare de Deu de la Trapa is paraded through the village streets accompanied by a well-attended procession.

In the port area there are some small beaches where to swim or, like this child, play with the sand...
