One of the best restaurants I ever visited in Majorca is "C'an Quet" associated with the hotel "Es Moli",about 1 km before you reach Deija from Valdemossa,on the hillside at the right side of the street (Ctra. Valldemossa- Deia, s/n, 07179, tel +34 971 639 196).
"Fresh Mediterranean cuisine, using products from the land. Dishes can be adapted for special dietary requirements.Themed Tasting Menus are available and they are changed regularly: 6 courses - €50 per person (excl wine & tax)"
C'an Quet is not cheap, but an unique experience in high-class cuisine, offering value for money in a mediterranean garden with views to the village and the mediterranean sea!

Beautifully prepared, but maybe a little too "safe" for some tastes. It cost about the same as the Raymond Blanc Restaurant in Manchester, England (Petit Blanc) but the flavours were not so impressive. Otherwise cooked to perfection.

We were the only guests for about an hour or so but the waiter made us feel very comfortable and the music was just at the right level. The food was very interesting and full of flavour.
Favorite Dish: The waiter recommended the lemon sorbet with vodka. It was stunning. The aperitif of curry sauce was the most unusual drink I've ever had!

Small little town, trapped in the mountains

A rugged landscape of forests and olive orchards is the incredible backdrop of Deià, a well-kept village with steep streets, lined with stone façades, that stretch on the slope of a seaside hill....

Artistic, poetic and very romantic.

I have to take back the preconceived ideas that I had about Mallorca. I've never been and hardly fancied the idea but I must apologise to the people who told me it is lovely in the north. We stayed in...
