The summit .. the top of the fortress.. a huge square with fade lights and a gorgeous beach of ibiza's harbour and downtown .20min on walk from the main entrance ...it worth while
in summer time the best option is go up at evening becuase its stifling heat in the morning hours or at noon
Favorite thing: in one word: a maze... th alley streets go up to the building on the summit crossing to left to right... sometimes its hard to know where you are.. ancient buildings are in this area as you can see in the pic but its a nice place .. better at night with all the night light of ibiza toen under you from the top
While travelling not all is party and beaches, even if the Spanish promotion campaign of the 70’s was sun and beach orientated LOL.
You should not miss to go to D’Alt Villa, the castle fortified on the top Of Ibiza Town. We did not have enough time as we only went for a few days, to visit all the area, but is waiting for our next visit… soon…
Favorite thing: Nice alleys everywhere and surprising places as the famous hotel of artist where each room is decorated depending on the artist o actor style
Favorite thing: this large and windy corridor gets you to the other side where you can see the sea and the harbour exit ..looking southwards ( to formentera)
Favorite thing: Just entering second stage ..a large corridor as a former mid-age city (amazing) and a stunning arch who open a great square with some locals, bars and restaurants
Favorite thing: The entrance to the fortress its huge and spectacular... a long slope stoped by a great arch looks like a Lord of The Rings movie ..once time inside its so easy to fet lost by the narrow alleys ...
