Space is an after-hours club (meaning it opens at 8 am). After you've gone out the night before, you can now go out yet again! Not only are they open in the mornings, but they also now offer some night time parties like the rest of the big clubs. With some funky house blaring, come watch the sunrise as you dance into the afternoon.

Seriously, I loved Pacha, but this day/night party is probably the best party on the island. The sound system in Space is fantastic (Funktion One to those in the know). Security is very good, but DON'T TURN UP LEGLESS, they will not let you in!
Drinks are pricey, but you knew that already...
Get along to the Sunday afternoon opening...from 4.30PM. You'll get a wrist band so you can go out of the club (you may need to purchase your ticket in advance from clubtickets.com) that way you'll get a free drink with each ticket & possibly the access to one trip out and return to the club.
Bora Bora is about 5 minutes away...a Vodka and Lemon in Bora was 12 Euros which I though was a bloody rip off for an untidy beach bar full of drugies and freeloaders!
Dress Code: Cool and smart 'beach' style is fine...I wore T-Shirt, Shorts and sandals!

OK. This is an experience and a half for any clubber. Imagine coming out of a big club at 7:00am and then rolling into Space for the day. It's got an unbelievable atmosphere, normally due to people coming for the first time and never having experienced a day club before. But also your regular Space lovers. In 2003 alot more people were going to DC10's which is another day/night club.
I would recommend coming about 12:00pm when its not to empty and the terrace is open.
Prices are round about 35-45 euro's to get in. (price's rocketed in 2003)
I went again in 2004 and is as busy as ever. Get a stamp to go over to Bora Bora for a bit too.
Dress Code: What dress code? You could come in here dressed as Osama Bin Laden with his passport and no one would say a thing!

This is one of the coolest club I've been to...it's absolutely HUGE! We waited in line for a long time on Sunday morning. We showed up about two hours after opening and the place was PACKED! We went with the lower priced entry tickets (roughly USD $15-$20) only to find out that if we left to get food or something, we had to pay another cover charge and wait in line. We partied til our legs hurt and our stomachs were growling then left. We later went to a local bar and had a blast.
Dress Code: No dress code really. There were people wearing just about anything you can imagine. Feel free to be creative.

The Space terrace is my spiritual home.
Space is the best club in the world. We Love Sundays @ Space are the most popular and legendary parties. You can dance on the terrace in the sun to Balearic beats all day long, screaming as planes fly overhead bringing more people to the island, munted out of your mind, and feeling the thick vibes. Or you can dance inside to darker beats, lost in your own vibe. You can dance to edgey beats in the smaller more intimate upstairs room. You can even sit in tubes or on foam furniture soaking up the sun on the top level chill out terrace. You can buy merchandise in the gift shop, and you can even get a massage or have a seat at the flavored oxygen bar in the lobby.
There are 22 hours of dancing possible. Sunday resident DJ Steve Lawler will blow your mind along with others such as Jose de Divina, Sin Plomo, Jonathan Ulysses, Reche, Voodoo & Serrano, and whatever other headliners are on the bill that day.
Tickets are usually ~40-50 euros and include one drink. Cameras are not allowed and you can check them at the door for 2 euros. Vodka lemons are ~12 euros, beers are ~10 euros, and water is 8 euros.

Space is famous for its outdoor terrace party and the deeper and darker grooves it plays in its trance room inside. It is a crazy fun time, plus you can finally get a good look at who you've been talking to in the dark for the past 4 hours. Sunday's at Space are the headline night, but this past summer when I was there, Carl Cox played on Tuesdays, and this is when I went. It was everything that I had heard, but the inside room was really cooler than I expected, and I thwarted Carl Cox many times, just so I could go chill out inside.

One of the more unusual clubs, Space is a must on a visit here. The best time is the all day party on Sundays, often you will see a celebrety or two attending. I once saw Elle MacPherson doing her stint on the dancefloor in a bikini ;0)
The Tuesday morning follow on party from 'Manumission' is also a must (doors open at 08:00). The 'normal' tourists actually gather in the car park to watch the coachloads of all night partiers arrive. Its quite a sight.
The club has indoor and outdoor areas, with a swimming pool for the daytime.
Dress Code: Smart, bring beachwear for the pool.

This is the ultimate Ibiza clubbing experience! You can't truly feel part of the Ibiza clubbing scene until you have been out all night and decide rather than going to bed, you will get a cab to Playa D'En Bossa and continue clubbing all day at Space! Once you make it past the doorstaff, who search you for anything from drugs to cameras and could turn you away for not liking the look of you...(they can turn you away for not observing a certain standard of hygiene, which I have to admit gets my vote!)...you'll find the most friendly atmosphere on the island! There's something about clubbing on the terrace in the sunshine which makes everyone smile! You won't find a queue at the bar as no-one can afford to drink even water here. You are looking at 7 euros for a bottle of water. Don't be surprised if you have a drink and people start asking you to share it...you probably won't mind either as they'll be so nice about it!
Dress Code: The door staff have the ultimate power to send you home without giving a reason, so it's best to look as if you've made the effort! Fancy dress always goes down well...Spiderman was there when we went! Ladies...try to make your bikini look clubby rather than beachy. Beachwear is not strictly forbidden, but you must wear something on your feet.
