We went to the west end in sanantonia and enjoyed an nice freindly atmosphere pub ,we sat in the godfather pub just across from the highlander and to our horror we witnessed two bouncers who worked in the highlander threw out a person out of the premises out on to the middle of the street as the person lay unconsious on the ground one of the bouncers stood at the door , while the other bouncer stood over the unconsious man and with the heel of his foot kicked the person over his sternum with a crushing blow as the person tried to get up the bouncer kicked him twice in the head causing two lacerations one under his eye the other at back of his head. This appeared to be a frenzied attack to a defensless person . The people that hire these bouncers in the highlander pub in sanatonia west end, should be ashamed of themselves and this pub should be boycotted
This is by far the best bar int he westend area. Its classy, excellent tunes, normal priced drinks and its open till about 4am. I loved it for the west end..r.eminds me of Stereo in Newcastle.
Dress Code: Dress clothes...stylish.
This area is jam packed with bars. All of these bars have all kinds of 2 for 1 deals and loads of cheap drinks! Good spot to be if you don't know spanish, most of the bartenders don't even speak spanish. There are all kinds of Irish bars etc.. always fun time =)
The west end in San Antonio is where it all happens. people come here to get basically get blind drunk and wink! wink! hopefully more.this is definitely not laid back at all and if you want a quiet drink then go elsewhere. The west end consists of numerous streest lined with bars that all want your money and very often you can be literally dragged in by the bar workers who stand on the streets and gently 'ahem' entice you to come in normally by offering a cheap and nasty shot. A lively place but if you are older than 25 you will feel a bit old as this place is full of 18 year olds.
Dress Code: anything goes!

The Highlander Scottish bar is at the top of the west end in San Antonio Ibiza. Its a lively bar with friendly staff. The atomsphere is great and the Dj and bar staff keep everyone entertained day and night. Well worth a visit.

where ever you go, you've got to go in every bar and club in westend. The lights the people, the streets are always busy. And you get given loads of flyers for free drinks!!!! It's such a laugh. the place is still buzzing when the clubs finish. I remember crawling into bed, and i could still hear all the hype and noise from outside. You really don't want to go to sleep, but i do recommend it otherwise you won't make it out every night, and you'll probably feel really run down, which is a bad thing when your in ibiza!!
Dress Code: anything goes!!!!!!!!!!! i mean anything!!! one club i went to sgt peppers, there was a girl on stage with no knickers and you could see everything!! ibiza is a very suprising place!!! be in for a shock!!
the typical english zone that you will find in the most touristic cities in spain. that means lots of alcohol, noise, drunk people, some of them sleeping in the pavement, fights... maybe some people are used to that ... i am not ...
A ramble through San Antonios West End district.
A lively district, suitable for families before midnight. Hundreds of bars, cafes and restaurants to watch people from. Pavement artists doing charicatures and portraits for reasonable cost. Fountains choreographed to music. Many other unusual sights.
