Speedboat ‘AIR’. Skipper Neil Wood. I took 3 friends out on Neil’s boat AIR in August 2008 and can honestly say I've never had such a blast. Neil took us everywhere we wanted to go - knowledge of the island was awesome. After a cool morning just blazing around, visiting bays and doing some water skiing and wakeboarding (proper good instruction!!!), Neil radioed and had us picked up by water taxi for lunch on Formentera. Picked us up after lunch and we spent the afternoon hooning around, banging music, free drinks. Had a few too many to do any effective skiing in the afternoon so we spent the afternoon being dragged around on an inflatable, or more precisely falling off an inflatable. Repeatedly. Did some sunbathing then watched the sun set off the beach at cafe mambo, absolutely made my holiday, the stand out day!!! If I could live a day over again, this day would be it. It isn’t a cheap day out but if there’s a few of you and you’ve got 100 euros each to spare, it’s the day of your life. I can’t recommend this highly enough. If you like messing around on boats, I can’t imagine a better boat to mess around on. I’ll be back again and again

We went out with Neil on his New Rinker 26' watersports boat in September last year. He is very knowledgeable about the islands and beaches of Ibiza and Fortmentera. Stopping at various beaches and coves on our way to a legendry, feet in the sand "Juan Y Andrea" lunch (Formentera), Snorkeling, lazing, and sipping wine were the mornings activities.
In the afternoon we decided to test Neils patience with a spot of waterskiing, teaching my girlfriend to wakeboard, (5 attempts previously-no luck) she suceeded!!! We also got some great local tips from Neil, restaurants, bars etc.
Best kept secret "the underground " nightclub in San Raphael.
The boat was fantastic, extremely clean and luxurious, drinks included, with brand new equipment at the highest standard and extreemly affordable. Good Luck to Neil in 09, we will definitely be back this summer, maybe for more than 1 day next time!! boatsibiza dot com Neil on +34 663 745 520

This was the most amazing thing we did on holiday and i would recommened it to anyone!!
Not sure how much we paid but i remember it was well worth it!!!
The boat was called the 'capitan Nemo' and was a glass bottomed catamaran. The trip to Formentera lasted approx 3 hours there and 3 back, we had about 2 hours on the amazing beach which was long enough as literally it is just a bit of sand in the middle of the sea!!!
The music on the boat was amazing and a couple of glasses of alcoholic drink was provided. The journey there went really quickly, looking at celeb boats and houses and feeding mini cheddars to the seagulls!!!
On the way back the skipper went out of his was to stop the boat to allow the perfect photographic opportunities near the 'horses mouth' and it was timed perfectly so we were at sunset strip in time to watch the sun go down...and were provided with champers.
The view was amazing and t was a great atmosphere all day!

We took a boat trip from San Antonio on a glass bottomed boat that headed south along the coast. The boat had a bar and gave a running commentary as we went along giving lots of information about the various places that we passed. At the turning point the boat circled the island of Es Vedra just off Cala d'Hort.
Es Vedra is an imposing rock rising to a peak almost 400 metres high and is home to numerous types of sea bird and and even wild goats. Boat trips from San Antonio often circle the island before dropping anchor just offshore for a spot of 'champagne' diving. Bottles are thrown into the water for people to try to dive down to retrieve. Unfortunately the bottles aren't actually filled with Champagne but more like Vino Collapso a gassy Farto.
I loved the whole trip and found it really relaxing. Sorry, don't know the name of the boat but there are lots to choose from in San Antonio.

Trips out to sea in a glass bottom boat are available from a lot of the resort. I haven't tried one so whether there is much to see I don't know. The only one I have been in was a ferry boat. The bottom was'nt glass but the sides below water were. Found this a waste of time as while you were travelling the waves were dashing against the side and you could only see foam.

If you want to see the best of the boating world, I believe Mallorca (Majorca) is THE place to be.
That said, the boats in San Antonio Marina were also quite impressive & worth a look if you are interested in such things.
The website below gives a brilliant panoramic view of the marina and surrounding mountains

Take a boat trip to Formentera Island for the day. I went with an 18-30s company but there are lots of different companies to choose from. Remember to slap your sunscreen on if your sitting on the top deck as there were some quite nasty cases of sunburn!! The trip to Formentera leaves from San Antonio, takes about 2hrs and there's entertainment in the form of a dj! Formentera was lovely (until the 18-30s arrived!) and a great place to top up your tan (clothing optional!) The sea was lovely and calm and you're able to swim out to the speed boats moored just off the shore to try and spot some of the celebs that hang out there! You head back just in time for the sunset at Sunset Strip passing some clifftop celeb homes along the west coast and the picturesque Island of Es Vedra. A great way to spend the day!

The best ever 15 Euros spent …. The trip from San Antonio to Es vedra island deserved that amount by sure. You can go by car to visit each of the beaches and Calas, but the views from the sea are more spectacular.
The staff is very friendly and you will have a good time
Captain Nemo boat with a glass bottom
The following tips are the calas and beaches we saw from the boat. too
