    Santa Eulalia

Santa Eulalia - This is certainly a place not to be missed when visiting Ibiza. Its a beautiful resort and has a mixture of old and new. Narrow alleys with whitewashed houses in the older part and a more modern seafront and harbour where expensive yachts and motor boats are moored. It also has a river walk where a roman bridge has been restored. Its not a huge place like San Antonio, more a family resort. I was really impressed by it. In fact I wish we had stayed there.
Lovely restaurants and shops to visit.

If you are lucky enough to pay a visit to Santa Eulalia, I recommend you treat your stomach to a visit to Restaurante Palardi, situated in the famous ´Street of Restaurants` (Calle San Vicente).
With a varied menu of international cuisine (Tex Mex a specialty) as well as a good selection of veggie options and a few specials together with wonderfully friendly and helpful service, it really is gastronic heaven!! and as for the margaritas!....
Oh and it won´t break the bank either!

    The beach in Santa Eulalia

Santa Eulalia is the third largest town in Ibiza. It is popular with families and couples that want more of a relaxing holiday. We visited an early morning and it was very peaceful. The town itself consists of many small shops and boutiques selling clothes, accessories, children's clothing etc. I particularly liked the Pacha shop as it was less crowded than in Ibiza town. There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants as well, but no big clubs. If you want to party at the famous clubs you will have to travel into Ibiza town, Playa d'en Bossa, San Rafel or San Antonio. Ibiza town is the closest, about 15-20 minutes by car.

There are two beaches downtown Santa Eulalia, both of them looked nice with lots of space.
There is a golf park nearby as well.

    Beach at Santa Eulalia

My visit to Santa Eulalia was for only one hour as we had taken the little train from Escana in the evening.

What I saw of the resort, I liked.

Away from the sea front was a good selection of quality shops, quite a few clothes shops and shoe shops I would'nt have minded taking a look at if we had more time.
Moving on to the harbour front we found enough restaurants to choose a different one each night. I may be wrong but I got the feeling this is a classy resort. It seemed very popular with couples of all ages as it was a pleasant area to sit, chill out and watch the world go by.

There was what looked like quite a big beach, although I was told it was not as nice as the one at Escana. There were plenty of families around the beach area, and the restaurants there looked like they would be more suited to kids wanting burger and chips.
