Favorite thing: Formentera is a small island and can thus be visited by bycicle instead of the noisy motorbikes that all italian tourist ride. It is cheaper, more ecological and healthier and it gives you the opportunity to discover the island at a human speed. By all means try it. You can find bikes to rent in many places in the port of La Sabina for about 5 euros the day. You can get to many beaches within 10km and you should also try the "Via verdes" and discover the inside landscape with the windmills, sheep and fig trees.

Favorite thing: Formentera is famous for its beautiful sunsets. Almost every evening the sun vanishes dramatically behind the horizon.
OK, I modified this picture a bit with photoshop. But it's definitely worth to stay a little longer at the beach to see the spectacle.

Fondest memory: In the northen part of this island "S'ESPALMADOR" , there is a interesting place to visit. It is MUD HOT SPRING !!
Everyone scoop the mud from huge hot swamp and rub that to own body. It's likely to be good for our skin...
Remember, the smell is so hard ! Even after washing in the beach, you will smell for a whole day !!(^ ^)

Favorite thing: One of the most beautiful beaches in whole island.. i loved to be there.. here there are some pictures over the cliff before drop to the sandy rocky surrounded beach with cristal clear waters!!
