Top 21 is a nice bar in playa d'en Bossa, pretty near Bora Bora. You can sit at a table and drink something, and if you're lucky (or better, if you are a girl) the waiters will offer you some "chupitos" (shots) and a free ticket for the dancing room downstairs. The dancing room is quite small and you'll listen to hip hop music (usually)...there aren't so many people and it is the right place if you're too tired to go to big discos such as Amnesia and Privilege.
Here you can also find discount tickets for Ibiza's main discos!
Dress Code: Absolutely informal
Den bossa have good music on the beach,
especially in bora bora.
people go there coz you can dance,
d.j. is great party start early eve.
but get serious late, till midnight
Dress Code: anything is posible ,fantasy is a must in this party
Sa Penya is area in Ibiza town, just near el puerto, where you can find lots of bars and pubs and where you can buy low cost tickets for discos!
Be careful because if you get something to drink you will spend lots of money! Many pubs don't write their prices on menus...that means they're very expensive!! I tell you what happened to me and my friends...we ordered a "jarra de sangria" and...you know how much we paid? 25 euros! so...always ask the waiter before ordering something to drink!
During the week there are many cool parties at Amnesia:
LA TROYA ASESINA: It's the gay/lesbian night (but everybody goes there). It's a beautiful and mad show with transvestites and strippers (male and female, but expecially male)...a really must see, for both sexes!!! ( anyway girls will like it more...)
THE FOAM PARTY: soooo funny!!! dancing while the foam rains down from the ceiling...you will be completely covered by it...but don't worry...then you'll be sprikled with water...at the end you'll be completely soaked!!!!!!!
MADE IN ITALY: the most famous Italian deejays play here once a week...if you like Coccoluto and Alex Neri (just to say a couple of names) you should go!
SAMURAI: nice show with people dressed like samurai simulating fightings
Dress Code: as always...just try to be original!
Privilege is a strange place...you may love it or hate it...I loved it, but at first I was a bit bewildered, I even thought I was going to faint! That happened because as you enter there you go down a stair and then you see an enormous room with thousands of people (Privilege can contain up to 15.000 people)...the atmosphere is so unreal, so shocking...
There you will dance tecno-house,but if you're tired there's also an outdoor space were you can go and relax a bit.
The best night to go there is "Manumission"...the most freakish and unconventional show I ever seen...I don't know how to explain it...you must go! people flying from the ceiling, dancers wearing odd costumes (dressed as cats, puppets, animals)...Remember that here you must pay anything you drink...and it's quite expensive!
Be careful because you will be body searched at the entrance...you can't bring your camera and you can't even bring something to drink! (we had just a bottle of water and they made us throw it away)
Dress Code: The more original you are, the better it is!!
Bora Bora is just one of the funniest places I've ever been...it's a bar on the beach, open from about 7.30-8.00 a.m to midnight...there you can drink the best Sangria of your life ( it will cost you 5 euros) and dance all the time...
You will dance house music...and you will dance it on the tables, on the beach, on the shore, in the sea...wherever you want!!!
The best time to go there is at sunset (6.30-8.30 p.m.), everybody there will seem crazy...don't worry about that, it's absolutely normal!
Dress Code: absolutely informal, you can wear your bathing suit if you like
Manumission at Privilege takes place on a Monday night.
Manumission is a night hosted at Privilge, it is a wild and extravagent hedonistic party. You will be entertained by acrobats street entertainers and even a live sex act on stage.
If you have ever watched the tv programme, Ibiza Uncovered then you won`t be a stranger to Manumission.
Dress Code: The wilder the clothes the better.
Look for the glass pyramid and you will find a supurb nightclub. It can be exspensive considering most of the other clubs in San Antonio are free and the drinks aren't cheap but it is well worth a visit. The highlight of the week is the Fiesta de Agua. When you hear Singing In The Rain on certain nights of the week the dancefloor turns into a giant water-filled pool with fountains spraying water all over the ecstatic crowd of partygoers.
Dress Code: Almost anything smart even swimwear on water party nights.
