  • Leo's Grill: Large portions, varied menus- Cala Millor!

    by KeenTraveller08 Written Sep 10, 2008

It's in the western part of Cala Millor, on the main boulevard parallel to the promenade. They have quite a good selection of meat and fish dishes, pastas, pizzas. The staff are Spanish with a great sense of humour, who speak English and German. The portions are large and averagely priced. It's also a great place for people watching and just sipping on sangria, if you don't feel like eating much.

Favorite Dish: Paellas are really great there and very filling. That's one of the few places that serves paella for one person.

Port Adriano Marina Restaurants: Breathe in the Sea Air

by SabrinaSummerville Written Nov 28, 2006

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

I ate at three different restaurants along the quayside at Port Adriano, and unfortunately I can't think of the names of any of them. However, as there are only four restaurants here in total I can easily describe each one.

The first restaurant that you come to as you enter the Marina is raised over the marina with a view out to sea. I found this the most casual of the three and it was also my least favourite, though it was my Mum's favourite of all. The reason that I didn't like it so much was because the food was, I felt, presented without much effort and was very simple. However, the atmosphere was great and very Spanish, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the view marvellous. It gets really crowded late in the evening and seems to attract a regular crowd of yachters who are well known to the staff.

The second restaurant has, I am advised, changed hands on a number of occasions. It's French and has won a couple of awards. They have a special tasting menu which I tried and just adored. I loved it so much that I went back a second night but I was disappointed as I realised that there wasn't much else to choose from on the menu!

The last restaurant on the quayside "strip" is a divine seafood establishment. It looks authentic, hung as it is with fishing neds and seafaring memorabilia. The fish is freshly caught each day and still tastes of the sea. You simply cannot dream of trying anything except the seafood platter for two. If you don't like fish, of course there are good steaks and other choices. This was by far my favourite place.

None of these restaurants is cheap - in fact, they are pretty expensive and one can understand this when one considers that the patrons are mainly the wealthy yachters.

Be prepared for very glamorous couples dressed up and dressed down, with lots of designer handbags and plenty of glittering big diamonds.

Favorite Dish: The seafood. When you're eating at a marina it's a shame to order anything else!!!!!

The marina is out of the way and so many people might not venture here at night! What a mistake! There are lots of nice resturants here which serve top quality food! Definately worth the walk down there!

Favorite Dish: Have the garlic mayo - Alioli! It is LOVELY! They serve it as an apetizer with bread - yum yum!

    ~ Mc Donalds ~: ~ Cheap Burgers & Fries ~

    by Heavens-Mirror Written Nov 27, 2005

The Mc Donalds in Palma is set on the seafront just in Palma Nova close to all the shops. It is a nice restaurant, the prices are alot cheaper than they are in the UK too.

We didnt fancy eating the same breakfast everyday at the hotel so we came here for some bacon rolls & hashbrowns. Also a good stop for a quick snack at lunchtime.

The Menus are in Spanish but each set meal does have a number on so if your not that great at Spanish then you can just say the number. Simple as that.

  • BAR RESTURANTE TRIO.................: PUERTO POLLENSA - WONDERFUL FOOD EXCELLENT VALUE

    by MICHELLE1805 Written Jul 4, 2005

What a wondefrul place. Staff so friendly but most of all the pre-set menu is excellent!!!!!! Such a choice about 7 startes from soups, prawn & smoked salmon salad, corn and many more. About 10 main courses from a veggie option to beef, chicken, pork, fish, pasta pizza that much I changed my mind so many times. Desert peferctly presented like the rest of the meal but the taste was the part that blew it of the edge of the world. I had the chocolate mouse. So rich but so light my mum had the strawberries which she said melted in her mouth. Included in the price is a drink of either beer, water soft drinks or the best of all a 1/2 bottle of wine for each person. Its not cheap house wine but a brand and it tasted mighty good. Also bread olives and dips are included. I could quite easily have eaten here most nights of my holiday but sadly we only got it reccomended to us on our last night but we spread the word very quickly to the new arrivals. Well then the cost? E14.50 (euros) about £10.00 gbp. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its along beside the Flora apartments on Carrer Perer Melia, I can supply the phone number in case you want to book as it was busy and also a lot of spanish seemed to use it for parties. Can say any more it was FAB

Favorite Dish: I had the prawn starter. Good size prawns not tiny tiddlers and the salad was so fresh. I had the medalions of beef in pepper sauce. It came with a large baked potate and veggies. Reasonable portion and meat was so tender. To finish I had the chocolate mouse. Words cant really describe it as my mouth is waqtering thinking of it. There was also cheese cake, ice cream sundaes which would have fed a family and plently more choice.

  • The Dolphin Bar - Cala d'Or: Friendly Atmosphere and Live Sport

    by david010 Updated Jan 25, 2005

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

This bar is located about 5 minutes from the marina and is very easy to find. It is wonderfully set out and decorated. The bar is very child friendly and offers a TV and Playstation for children. It is a typical bar but anyone would feel welcome. They also serve meals and offer the chance to see live sport events from the UK and other countries.

Favorite Dish: The menu was aimed for families and contained child dishes as well as adult portions. It offered mainly English dishes but had other foods i.e. pizza. My favourite was the steak which was cooked perfectly and I have no complaints about the food or the service.

  • Bens D'Avall: Gourmet Lunch Overlooking the Water

by filboy Written Sep 6, 2004

Considered by many as the best restaurant in the island of Mallorca, located on the way past Deia and Soller. They have a big sign along the road, and it is about 2 km, down a winding road to the restaurant that has a big terrace and a breathtaking view of the sea.
The food is simply marvelous, creative and a treat to the senses. The menu varies from seafood to meat, but for a splurge, try their tasting menu, a five course lunch which include a 1st and 2nd appetizer, sorbet, 1st entree, fish and 2nd entree, meat, plus a divine dessert. The wine list is on the high side, but there are some reasonably price wines. The ambience and service is first rate. The meals came perfectly timed and prepared superbly. One of the best meals we ever had in Spain, after being there in 2 years. Life can't be any better than this. Price-
tasting menu 58 euros- average price of lunch including wine and tip 75-100 euros.

    Favorite Dish: Tasting Menu
