Amusement Parks, Majorca Island
Great! An amazing family day out! Don't miss the turtles, octopus, clown fish, and terrifying sharks!
And if you are a fan of nature this is the place to go, if you are not, go there anyway! it's fun for everybody kids and grown ups. You can dive with the rays in the gardens, fantastic experience!
Ah! if you go there in summer time it's better to go in the afternoon (less people).
Spent a day at aqualand nr magaluf with 3 teenagers who were happy ALL DAY! Nice clean park with plenty of water rides, some more extreme than others. Really enjoyed our day here, had to hire rings for some of the rides and sunbeds but was pretty gd value there. Go on their website (www.aqualand.es) before yr hol as you can print off 'free child entry' vouchers, think its 1 adult pays then 1 voucher covers the child entry so worth doing.
Another water park this time with a western ambiance to it. I didn't like this one as much as aquacity but that is probably very subjective. I'm just not too found of those kind of shows and all.
It is in Magaluff so if you're staying there or close to it can be a very good day out.
Usually i'm not a big fan of this kind of thing.. but since we got free entrance tickets via the hotel so we could inform tourists about the park, i spend half a day here. After all, i needed to have visited the palce if someone asked didn't i? And i can understand why you want to visit this when you have kids.. the animals are wonderfull. The dolphin show and the sealions.. adorable.. So not a wasted day after all..
You can get there easily by car or the bus.
Loved this. And after a day i was as red from sunburn to make many a lobster more than jealous. But i had so much fun.. All the slides, waves and fun stuff with water.. There was even a place where you sat with 2 on some sort of 8-tire and then you either go the complete dark tunnel (where you can see absolutely nothing!) or the less dark but faster tunnel.. That really got my adrinaline upp..
Location: El Arenal
Western water park is Mallorca's favourite water park. Its a great place for eveyone to have fun in the sun.It also offers multi-passenger rides which is good if you are in a group, there are also shows throughout the day which are really good including mexican dance and a family cowboy show.Agreat day out.
If you are with children, the "Marineland" is a good choice. I'ts not so cheap but tourists have always pay to much -:(.
You need time because you have to queue for several highlights. And take drinks and some foot with you, you will need it. There is also a beach, so if you like take your swim-clothes with you.
I can't remember what the park was called but the water slides where so much fun. The one called the Camicazi was really fast and fun. When i first got to the park i had refused to go on it (like I said I'm a bit of a chicken) but my sister was a bit of a thrill seaker and decided she wasnted to go on the bumpyslide (that's what she called the Camicazi) so I agreed not realizing what she was talking about. It wasn't untill I had queued up and gone down the slide did I realise I had been on the Camicazi. It wasn't a scary as I thought it was going to be!
At Marineland there are lots to see and do,there is a dolphin show a seal show,a tropical house and aviary its a great day out for all the family.
Marineland is situated at Calvia Costa d'en Blanes beach,This wondeful marine zoo has 34 yrs of history in entertainment, education, research and interconnection, with nature.
