We went to the Leather factory Shop and in my eyes was very expensive I am not familiar with the brand name so maybe it is just an exclusive range,I could not see how they were factory prices.
They appeared to be cheaper in the local shops, but again maybe not the same brand (just my view).
Ive always believed that factory prices would normally mean a saving of up to 50% I just did not see it.
Unique Suggestions: Shop around for better prices.
Fun Alternatives: Again when we went to the factory shop we didn't notice at first another factory shop tucked away .
The prices in this shop were far cheaper maybe not the same brand,so shop and look around especially if it is on an industrial site.

Our guide books described this outlet of the local dairy farming co-operative in Alaior as a great place to buy local cheeses. We were quite looking forward to trying a few different varieties and buying some for presents and for picnics during the rest of the holiday. Having tracked down the shop, on the outskirts of the town, we were most disappointed. Rather than being a proper shop it was simply the office of the co-operative, a small glass counter beside the reception desk contained a couple of pieces of cheese while a tub on top of the counter had in it a few drying up pieces that had been there for who know how long.
We walked back out as quickly as we had walked in and went off to explore Alaior's terrace cafes instead.
Fun Alternatives: Try to catch a market in one of the towns. If you're in Ciutadella go to the market hall (before 1pm) or to the Ca Na Riera shop which is close to the market. These places have a great selection of cheese, as well as a whole host of other goodies.
