City Center, Palma de Mallorca
Favorite thing: Made this picture somewhere in the city centre.. i think just in one of the streets behind the cathedral. But that is as best an indication of its location as i can give you. But i like it very much and wanted to share it with you. If you find it on any of your own explorations of Palma, drop me a note will you
Favorite thing: This street is somewhere in the area behind the cathedral. There you can find lots of tiny streets, little shops and of course the arabian baths. As always when you have enough tim eto explore everything and all for months one doesn't pay attention. So when i took this picture i didn't give it a thought. And ever since then i can't remember exactly where it is. Though i'd probably have no difficulty walking straight to this street if i was in Palma
You will have understood it with the passing of my journeys, I am attracted by the old city alleys that I visit. It is often there that one recovers the history of these cities, and also the inhabitants and the realities of life.
Fondest memory: In the center city, a lot of streets, in stairs, are reserved to the pedestrians, and very storekeepers. If one moves away a little, one finds other charms in these alleys.
Favorite thing: Palma is the province capital of the island of Mallorca. It is the main commercial area with more than 300,000 people living. In Palma you should visit the Cathedral, a majestic gothic-barroque building, a great example of both styles. But if Mallorca is famous for a thing, it is for the beaches, coral blue water with white sand beaches, reminds you a lot to the caribbean.
A view of the harbor of Palma of Majorca, since the gardens that border the battlements of the old city.
Fondest memory: All around of the battlements has been arranged a walk, with gardens to the site of the moats. It is one places cool, quiet and relaxing.
Fondest memory: Palma is the capital of the Island of Majorca and of the Baleares Province of Spain, and is situated on the Bay of Palma. It is the chief port and commerical centre of the Balearic Islands.
Favorite thing: Palma is picturesquely situated along the bay and into the surrounding hills, and is one of Europe's most renowned resorts. The many craft industries supplement tourism.
Mallorca actually is really German what a lot of people don't like!
It's affortable to get there and the weather is great!
Some people call this island 'little Germany' because you don't really see Spanish people there. Everywhere German tourist, German food and Music....
Anyways, it's a really nice island and has a lot of attractions (besides the German 'Ballermann-parties':-) ).You can relax on the beach or at the pool, but also do advanture stuff like all kinds of sport-activities, walking in the mountains, visiting Palma or the non-tourist areas in the middle of the island....
Fondest memory: Had a good time there with my family, also met some friends!
OK im Carly and hello
this page is just the basics ov Palma nightlife as i have visited Palma over 2 times and the nightlife there is great not only that but the food and the ATMOSPHERE is brilliant to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fondest memory: THE FOOD
THE PEOPLE YOU GET TO MEET
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING
THE AMAZIN TAN YOU GE
You are going to visit Palma, ok!!! you select a wonderfull city and island to take your holidays.
Now you have to go to the one of the many wonderfull beaches that we have in Mallorca. after you can visit the old city, with the gothic Cathedral, Almudaina Palas or the crazy shopping center with a lot of tourist.
If you are tired and you have hungry you can go to a tapas bar to taste the typical spanish food and at night, you can go out to Passeo Maritimo, Tito´s,La Lonja, or Pacha, all of them are interesting places to enjoy yourself.
In Palma, you absolutely have to visit the Cathedral wich is based just in front of the port.Go there when it's not so warm, around 6pm.Then, go to eat in a tipical restaurant in the old Palma, near Palma's fantastic market place, and then drink a 'hierbas' at the bingo wich is situated on this place, you will drink and play in an old theater refected ultra modern. After that, go to El Arenal for night time. You will first go for a walk in the beach street where you'll choose the bar you want before going to party all night long.
Go to the blue lighted IBIZA PUB, to the TCHA-TCHA, then the clubs you have to go are JOY PALACE, ZORBA'S, RIU PALACE,and the TCHA-TCHA is an after too.Thoses are my favorites places. No matter the streets, the taxi driver knows each of it and you can make quite everything walking.
For a drink : 6 $
For a restaurant : 13 $
For a club : 17 $ for a boy, 12 $ for a girl OPEN BAR for everybody ( beer, cocktails, champain,short drinks +3 long drinks )
See you there !
Fondest memory: What I miss is the sea and the beach, when it's warm at night and when you can go with your friends after dancing, relaxing in the water!
Fondest memory: If you want to take your time and go to the yachting harbour opposite the Cathedral, ask around for Tony Payne the world's best yacht varnisher of the world. He is a very nice guy to meet and say him hello from dutch Jos. He will show you around and where to go. Good luck.
go to the old-city-where the restaurants are and to the yachting-harbor-nightclubbing is great !!
Fondest memory: I always miss Palma, because my mum lives there and I have nice memories of the city: the people, the restaurants, the clubs, the shops, the old houses...
The weather here is perfect every day. Its about 80 degrees all the time. Even when it rained somehow the sun managed to emerge and make it a good day to drink and party ;).
Fondest memory: Everyday there was great all I did was drink and party for 7 days straight. I'm talking about every day 24/7
Favorite thing: This street is just behind the arabian baths if my memory serves me well.. Just a fun and nice stroll around this area will probably bring you here. Or like one is supposed to do, getting lost in the city will lead you to the best places
