Government / Historical Buildings, Palma de Mallorca
The place of Palma where is the township (in the face, the hotel with the clock), and in its center, a superb millennial olive tree.
Fondest memory: The vicinities of the Town hall of Palma are a quiet place, close to the small alleys pedestrians. The town hall visits itself, and some exhibitions are presented to the public there sometimes.
Favorite thing: Ancient remains, dating back to the Stone Age have been discovered here. The imposing Gothic cathedral, founded after James I of Aragon wrested Palma from the Moors (1229), was finished in the 17th Century. Regrettably I have no photo of this beautiful building, but you won't miss it!! There are several ancient churches and fine private houses, as can be seen in this view.
Un Cathedral hecho de cal? Pues si!
ASies el Cathedralde Palma de Mallorca.
Parece tan fragil y tan bello....
