The harbor is packed with sailboats of all sizes and shapes. Due to the good weather for most of the year, this is a place where people come to sail the waters in the Med. They use their boats to reach spots along the coastline that is easier than finding land transport to them. Europeans in the upperscale society ha a passion for sailing, and many have their rigs docked here year round.

Canyamel was a nice, relaxing course. It had some great scenery and was not that difficult. We lucked out and got some great weather. While we did golf during the week, the course was also not very crowded. We never found ourselves waiting during a hole.

The course was definately the nicer of the two we played. The course was difficult but fair, and it had some great scenery. The 15th hole (pictured) was the best of the two rounds on vacation. The price was fair and the clubhouse was relaxing afterwards.

THE place to windsurf or kite-surf is along the bay between Pt. de Pollenca and Alcudia where the wind seems to be constant. You can't miss it, just follow the kites. You can rent gear, take a course or just hang out and enjoy watching. Hobie cat rentals are also available in Pt. de Pollenca if you want something a bit bigger to play on.

Mallorca city is flat so biking is not a big problem. There are some places where to rent bikes so go ahead and rent one, U'll not regret it. I bought one only 1 month ago and I'm really enjoying the rides.
In the picture, my bike and in the background the "Toro Island" near Andratx and Paguera.
Some usual tips before going outthere:
1- Keep to the hard shoulder of the roads wherever possible. If you go out in a group, go in single file. Don't make any risky manoeuvres and comply with all trafic requlations for your own safely.
2- Do not leave litter behind and do not light fires in the woods. Respect the natural surrounding because the ecological balance is very fragile.
3- Do not enter private property without the express permission of its owners.
4- In the summer, it is advisable not to cycle during the time when the sun is at its hottest. Take water and a hat on excursions.
5- Before leaving on an excursion, make sure your cycle is in good condition. Make sure you have lights if you are thinking of going out at night or returning late.
6- Before setting off, make sure you let someone know where you will be going and when you think you are likely to get back to your setting point.
Equipment: Inside the city, just use a helmet and a usual bike, don't need any professional stuff.
