U can just sit in the nearby cafes and enjoy the breeze while making some photos of the church. Also U can enter and feel the amanzing weight of the centuries in the stones of this church.

Close to Palau Vivot, the church of Santa Eulalia, in the square with the same name is one of the oldest and more important of Palma.
Coming from the 12th century it suffered drastic changes, showing today a Neogothic facade built in the 19th century. It's a good solution for a short brake in the shade.
Santa Eulalia church
There are many gothic churches apart from the famous cathedral. One of them in located just some blocks away from the cathedral at Santa Eulalia square.
Esglesia de Santa Eulalia (pic 1) is one of the oldest churches that was buil6t the first years after Jaume I conquest in the island. It was built in gothic style with three naves. The neogothic façade was built in late 19th century.
The church usually has 2 masses per day (morning and evening)
Weekdays 9.30-12.00 and 18.30-20.30, Saturday 10.30-13.00 and 18.30-20.30, Sundays 9.30-13.30, 18.30-19.30, 21.00-22.00
Unfortunately the church was closed so after taking some pictures of the exterior we decided to stop for a coffee at the nearby square plaza del Cort which is not more than 70meters away from the Town Hall. It houses some cafes with tables outside. Just opposite the square is the Ajuntament (the town hall of Palma), another interesting buildings in the historic center. The Ajuntament was built in 17th century has a beautiful baroque façade that was part of a former hospital. The bronze elegant doors and wall carvings. The old clock on the top floor called En Figuera dates from many centuries before although the mechanism is just from 1863. The front was closed in the evening so I dint check the interior.
