    Cycle lanes

Whilst in and around the Badia d' Pollenca area. Why not hire a bicycle to get around.

The area around the bay and up to Pollenca is flat and most of the roads are safe (see my warnings tip), most roads have a cyle lanes and traffic seem to respect these lanes.

Bikes can be hire for very little and remeber to ask for a helmet.

I found a bicyle hire shop in Puerto Pollenca called Maria's at C/ Roger de Flor 12
    (Next to Bar Romero,
50m from new Pharmacy on C/Juan XXIII)
to be very helpful. their bikes range from only 6 Euros/day or 30 Euros/wk. you can also find them at http://www.puertopollensa.com/walking_cycling_golf.html
Remember tell them I sent you!.

    Train

As usual, take the train on Palma and go to Sa Pobla, then take a bus, taxi or rent a bicycle and there are still more 12km to Pollenca. The train ticket there and back is 4.90€.
