Mallorca has a highly developed road network covering over 1,100 km, which is centred around three main axes setting out from Palma de Mallorca: the Llevant motorway, the Ponent motorway and the central motorway which goes to Inca.
It also has radial network of local minor roads, such as those from Palma de Mallorca to Andratx, Manacor, Artà, Cala Rajada and Santanyí, as well as other transverse axes, such as Andratx to Port de Pollença road, the Artà to Port d'Alcúdia road and the Santanyí, Felanitx, Manacor road.
There are also regular bus routes which criss-cross Mallorca daily and which allow visitors to explore the island's villages and enjoy the charms of the countryside. In 2001, the new bus station came into service, with its large passenger terminal, and acts as a starting point for the regular transport links operating on the island. RECAR has your car, at least that's what they claim, but I have been able to book a car even on a Holidays, which is a good thing here on Mallorca. When traveling with family and friends, you get a second driver included ... which is a great thing, and the price is most accurate on their website, that what you see is what you pay.
... A lot of companies here in Spain add taxes and service fees up to 60 € when you go to pick up the car at the station. Big problem, because either you pay the fee and get the car, or have to leave the airport without a car ... and you probably can't get one again that quickly.

- Transmediterranea: 2 super fast ferrys, 2 ferrys and one cargo ferry.
- Balearia: 2 super fast ferrys, one fast ferry and 2 ferrys.
- Iscomar: Is more dedicated to cargo and cars but also has one fast ferry
- TurboCat: only goes from Barcelona to Alcudia and Menorca
- MedMar: only departs from Sète (France) to Palma de Mallorca, good for frenchs
In all of these ferries U can take your car with U. Bicyles are for free.
