full moon by Rhondaj Dinner is taken later in the evening, although my friends tell me not so late as it used to be. Begin with tapas and drinks, going from café to café about 6pm. Wait until at least 8pm or later to think about dinner! Don't worry, the tapas will hold you over... If you want to go dancing afterwards try the Cotton Club on Calle Gregorio de la Revilla. House music--Congreso on Barrencalle Barrena Non-stop---QU&DO on Ibañez de Bilbao Karaoke--Cocos-Calle Uhagón Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and Drinking

It is something different, and not really spanish. But it is still fun to go and dance the salsa with some nice spanish ladies ;-)

Regulars in the Wicklow by timtregenza This small bar is the hang-out of the English Speaking Expats in Bilbao. (Wednesday - Friday in particular) The Wicklow serves the best (and the most per square metre) Guinness in Bilbao.

by Zoe_bcn DONOSTIA-SAN SEBASTIAN Parte Vieja This is the area with the best atmosphere in Donostia. In this multi-coloured city centre meet the young and the old alike. You can find pintxos and drinks; the atmosphere continues until three am. The most frequented street is Fermin Calbeton and the Plaza de la Constitucion. Calle San Bartolomé This street near La Concha Bay, parallel to San Martin street, has a number of pubs where the young and beautiful meet. Reyes Católicos Those closer to their 30's or those over 30 can find other people of the same age group in the pubs of this street, located at the back of the Good Shepard cathedral. For those who prefer Caribbean music, 'La Habanera' is a basement located under the Victoria Eugenia theatre. The cafeteria at the new Kursaal is also a good alternative. HONDARRIBIA Parte Vieja In the historical part of town you can enjoy the bars, which in the morning serve 'pintxos' and in the evening turn into music pubs. Paseo de la Marina The most populous area of this beautiful town is full of restaurants, bars and pubs, which offer all sorts of gastronomic delights. One cannot go to Hondarribia and not visit 'Uxoa', an establishment located on the Paseo Butron, which is a 'pintxo' bar in the afternoon, and a pub in the evenings. The evenings always end at 'Truck', located on the Paseo del Faro, opposite the sports centre. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Bilbao's nightlife comes in various stages and levels of intensity. For relaxed, bar-to-bar, tavern-to-tavern wining and dining on the run, the action begins in such places as the Casco Viejo and, in the Ensanche, along Calle Licenciado Poza, where serious poteo (tippling), txikiteo (still more tippling), and tapeo (tippling and tapa grazing) continues late into the night. Other top bar-hopping zones include Paseo del Arenal, Calle Ledesma, and Calle Elcano. Los Jardines de Albia, with the Café Iruña in the forefront, is also a hub for a variety of cafés, bars, and taverns. Leave a Comment Theme: Dancing

Blues festival (end of june), Jazz festival (beginning of july) and Folk festival (mid-september). Don't pass 'em by!!!!! Get ready to enjoy the outdoor, free concert where everyone ends up shaking their bodies and sipping some cool drinks, under the moon & stars.....
The only dress code is that you wear a smile on your face and a good mood in your soul! And if not, the place will cheer you up, I'm sure. Leave a Comment Theme: ConcertDirections: Take the subway to 'Areeta' (blues and folk) or 'Algorta' (jazz).

The blue-coloured hair of Niko is a wig, because he's nearly baldheaded!! Bego was wearing Niko's special helmet... to work? :-)
