This bar's great recommendation is its location, sited as it is on the riverfront between the Guggenheim and the Euskalduna. It offers the standard range of drinks.
The cafe is in effect a terrace of tables (covered) where one can sit and watch the world and the river go by.

Maybe it´s not the tipical basque food restaurant, but there is no dobut that it´s a great place to eat good meat.
La Parrilla Argentina, as his own name says, is an argentian style grill. It´s quite expensive but the quality and de service are also very good.
It could be a good idea to book the place because it has many customers, specially on weekends.
I would recomend the following dishes:
Brocheta de setas (grilled meat and mushrooms)... 8.00€
Provoleta al oregano (grilled cheese with oregan).... 8.00€
Parrila de la huerta (different grilled vegetables)...... 12.00€

Authentic Argentinean kitchen at good prices. During lunch time they offer a menu for 11 euro including Castilian wine.

This bar/cafe is located behind the Diputacion ("County Hall") Building on Gran Via on a paved street (Diputacion).
It has arguably the best quality pintxos in Bilbao (reflected in prices).
There is table service for raciones and pintxos, or just stand at the bar. The interior has not changed in at least 50 years.
