View from Monte Igueldo
Without a doubt the most photographed view of San Sebastian is from Monte Igueldo. You can walk to the top of the hill but the better option is to use the funicular located behind the tennis club.
As well as taking in the view during the day its worth taking in a night viewing also.

Museum of Whiskey
You are in a very small place here ... San Sebastian has a small, attractive Old Town with amazing Tapas ... and a rather normal new town with the basics.

You might expect a Whiskey Museum in Manhattan or someplace truly decadent like ... Amsterdam. But not in Basque Spain.

They have every last single malt scotch that was every dripped from any ounce of highland river water and well tended grains in Great Britain, Scotland and Ireland for that matter.

Plan to spend a wad of your hard earned beads and trinkets and go for it!

Monte Urgull
You can walk to the top of Monte Urgull, topped by low castle walls and a grand statue of Christ. The Views across the Bahia de La Concha and the city are wonderful.

Seafish at Aquarium
You could see a lot of different sea species at the aquarium. It is smaller than Barcelona aquarium but it is beautiful.

Kursaal Theatre
You really must book a guided tour to see this wonderful place!
The Kursall is located at the end of the Zurriola beach near the mouth of the Urumea River and behind the Urgull mountain.
The building was designed by Rafael Moneo and hosts an Auditorium and a Chamber Music Hall.
This particular place suggested to the architect to design two compact volumes like stranded rocks.
The auditorium and the chamber music hall are indipendent volumes, while all other areas of service are contained in a platform.
The block of the auditorium has a slight tilt toward the sea. Inside the glass prism, asymmetrically, there is the rectangular hall (1828 places).
In the foyer there is a broad window that shows a seaview.
Near this complex, along the Urumea river, there is another building designed by Moneo in 1968-72.
