During certain times (info at enterance) you can go in the monkey house and feed them. It's lots of fun! At the enterance you get some nuts to give to the Monkes. They are very cheeky and climb on your shoulders and head to get the food.
Don't try to fool the Monkeys they bite if they feel fooled!!

There are several Restaurants in the Park offering different meals.
The Restaurants are not cheap! You can of course bring your own food with you and eat it sitting on one of the benches.
Favorite Dish: I only ate a ice cream and drank a coke there so i can't realy tell you about this ;)

We went to dinner there for my girlfriend's birthday. I am in the restaurant 1 hour before, to speak with the maitre to prepare the bride ami par surprise. The deal was buenissimo and agreed to all my requests (bouquet of flowers delivered by the waiters and the gift with dessert) We ate dishes that neither knew that there, the chef has a few art! The pianist who played even get to sing the birthday with the waiters. The atmosphere is unique and the food of another world, very high level! I recommend the hotel receptionist, and the truth that was a total triumph. I recommend, you must try!
Favorite Dish: sauted scallops with prawns and wasabi, coco and curry sauce

There is a free bus from Las Americas, Los Gigantes and puerto de la Cruz to the park. Ask the Hotel or one of the little markets advertising tickets for the timetable or look at the webiste. You need to have a ticket (to the park) to be able to use the bus.
Of course you can get there by car too, but there are not a lot of parking spaces near the entrance. Leave the Motorway directin "Arona" and then follow the signs

Favorite thing: Plan enough time to see the Park, we thought we'd only stay a few hours and then go to the beach, when we got out of the park it was too late do do so....
Fondest memory: The wonderfull plants and animals.
