    Fortuna: Get the Lamb

    by Russ60 Updated Jan 19, 2004

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

By far the best Restaurant weve been to in Los Cristianos, it gets very busy so get their early unless you want to wait a while. The portions (even the childrens meals) are BIG!!! . If you get the Leg of Lamb you wont be dissappointed ( size and quality). All the food weve had there over the years has been excellent, last October being the last time we visited, So I hope it hasnt changed and you enjoy the food.. It is located on the lower road between the church square and the Harbour. It has its own website for better directions http://www.giveover.com/fortuna.htm

Favorite Dish: Leg of Lamb tastes great and you wont need any pudding!!!!!!!!!

In los cristianos the best restaurants can be found along a narrow pedestrian street between the town square and the beach. Most of the restaurants have an outside seating area producing a great atmosphere on summer evenings.

Favorite Dish: There are restaurants serving traditional spanish food washed down with a glass of sangria, but there are also chinese, mexican , indian, french and lots more on offer.

    by lauren1370 Written Jul 16, 2003

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

generally the food is great in tenerife, with a huge choice of restaurants and cafes. however the chinese restaurants are very good, the food is very cheap and the portions are twice the size of the ones back home. the staff at these restaurants are also really friendly and constantly trying to please.

Favorite Dish: you can get a great set meal, including a bottle of wine for around 10 euros, arond £7.00 , and they are very generous with their servings.

Don't expect to get a genuine Aberdeen Angus steak here.
The cows have a tendency to stay in Scotland.
