Beach side bouncing!

If you have a bit of energy to burn off then head for the beach! At most resorts in Tenerife you will find trampolines to bounce away on. Both adults and kids can have fun here!The blocks of around 10 or so well maintained trampolines are enclosed with high safety netting.

For a small cost of just over 2 Euro you can enjoy yourself or impress the spectators with your tricks for 10 happy minutes - most of the time, if there is no great demand for the trampolines then you will probably be able to stay on much longer! Just pay as you enter, take off your shoes and bounce!

Make sure you have a drink at the ready for when you eventually drop especially in the hotter months, it's exhausting!

Aquapark is situated in Playa de las Americas - the biggest tourist center in south of the island.
Tha Aquapark is full of water entertaintments and you can also see the dolphins there.

It is possible to climb right to the top of Mt Teide, you can go up by cable car then carry on to the summit by foot, then walk down if you wish, the walk however takes about 4 - 5 hours
If you do wish to walk up to the summit you will need a permit which must be applied for at least three days in advance
please be aware that the footpaths may be closed due to snow and ice

Tenerife has an extensive network of sign-posted tourist trails, offering interesting guided and self-guided walks. There is also a large number of recreation areas offering a full range of services.
The rugged island terrain attracts large numbers of mountaineers who come here for the rock climbing and to descend the gorges. The island also offers great take off sites for paragliding, with spectacular and unusual views.

In the Teide National Park, there is an extensive network of tracks providing access to the most interesting sites. Based on criteria of safety, comfort, local knowledge and the enjoyment of visitors, the Park management especially recommends the guided and self-guided routes, rather than some of the more dangerous and lengthy trails that are not recommended for most people. Other important places for hiking are Anaga Forest and Punta de Teno.

Tenerife has paved main road and smaller gravel road to practice the biking under it cool climate all year round. A mountain bike is ideal for tours up the side of the main feature - Mount Teide - with its trails through huge expanses of volcanic rock but the extremely steep road to the mountains can need a great effort for the novices. who can practice it in the little flat parts of the island.

Several companies offer bicycle hire (mountain bike hire), moped hire, scooter hire and motorcycle hire. The powered machines usually range from 90cc moped/scooters to larger motorcycles such as the Kawasaki Tengai 650. Prices vary depending on the number of days you hire the bike, but start at around 17 Euros per day for scooter hire. The more days you hire a bike for the lower the price will get. You have to wear a crash helmet that you can hire at the same time as you hire your bike. For hiring bikes you have to be at least 18 years.

There are plenty of water sports available on the beaches around Playa De Las Americas. Snorkeling, scuba diving, pedalos, surfing, windsurfing and jet skis amongst others are available.

All the equipment can be rented down on the beach or in the case of snorkelling can be bought quite cheaply from one of the many cheap gift shops.
