We were told "Safari Center is Tacky" , Not so.
We have seen tacky on our travels and this certainly was not, we thoroughly enjoyed it,its modern bright lights music and Musical fountains.
Once we discovered where to go we were there about 6 times, there are plenty of shops or you can just sit and people watch.
We were staying at the Arona Gran Hotel and were told "You can get a bus down the road",personally I wouldn't bother ,get a Taxi there are plenty of them and save your legs for walking about the Safari Center and Beach front.

stayed a week in cristianos , tenerife, came back on 01/10/12. found this bar on our last evening..lovely position overlooking the beach, elevated, sports to watch if you wanted, but i found looking out over the atlantic better. was there a few hours me and the missus, we had around 7 pints of lager and about 8 pints of vodka and redbull between us, oh, and a great kebad, and the bill only came to 38euros.. really nice atmosphere, lively and great service.. we will pop back there when we go back to tenerife next year...it is really lovely to look out over the beach on a very warm, light evening..

New cocktail bar (apparently opened about 6 months) in Calle la Paloma, Los Cristianos.
Run by a young Canarian couple Yeison (Jason) and Vanese, both speak decent English and are very friendly and welcoming. A really nice relaxed atmosphere, with music, not blaring, subtle to allow conversation - my preference. Good choice of beers and cocktails - sorry didn't note actual prices, but know it wasn't particularly expensive. recommended, I'll certainly be making return visits.

We stumbled across this bar by pure mistake n to be honest just poped in to use the loo. But the warm welcome and the easy atmosphere won us over. We enjoyed a couple of evenings with helen and alan the bar owners enjoying there homecooked food n friendy acceptance of new faces. I maybe wouldn't have chose to walk into a scottish bar (as being english myself) but we were made to feel at home and more than welcome.
This was our favourate spot just up off the beach. We would pop up for lunch which never disappointed. We would then return in the evening to watch the sun go down over the ocean and maybe the cheap drinks played a factor too !!! I would definately recommend here for those who wish to relax with great views while enjoying high quality at reasonable prices.
This is live music with Terry and Steve - the duo Two Risky.I always have at least one night in The Patch when I visit Tenerife. Get into a taxi and ask the driver to take you to The Patch - simple as that!
In The Patch have a wander into the Drunken Duck and see the award winning Duo Two Risky. There is a different cabaret every night and has been described as the "best little pub in town".
If the Drunken Duck is the best then the Brewers Droop (yes that's its name as well as the effect it may have on punters) is the busiest. Quizes, bands, cabaret, karaoke and live football. Take my tip if you are staying after midnight try and get a seat inside.

The Devon Arms in Los Cristianos is another of my favourite watering holes in Tenerife. Mine hosts Brendon and Annette assure everyone who goes to the Devon Arms may enter as a stranger but certainly they will leave as friends.
They serve good pub grub as well as draft and bottled beers. They have Sky TV a selection of newspapers and you may catch the odd glimpse of some of the local entertainers - including Martin Rod Stewart.
Yes this is truly an international pub with Irish, Scottish and of course occasionally the odd Englishman and they don't come much odder than yours truly.
