A really stylish nightclub in Fuerteventuras south. Not the usal canary tourist bunker - well dressed people and really good house music in a oriental decoration.
Best to eat there and relax until the party starts.
Dress Code: There is a no special dress requiered, but you shoulden't wear a hat or sandals.

My nightlife recommendations are limited for Puerto Rico as after we discovered Monroes, we ended up going there every night!
Excellent staff, really friendly, hilarious quizzes and karaoke. Open til 2.30. Huge measures in the drinks (especially when the barmaid has had a few!)

Be prepared to be pick-pocketed, harrassed by club touts and leered at by stag weekends. We didn't venture out often but that had a lot to do with the fab hotel entertainer!
Dress Code: A Tshirt with "girls/lads on tour" printed on it will mean you'll fit in nicely!

Night life venues on the Canaries are mainly for Northern European tourists, most of them dressed in a doubtful taste and with a high concentration of alcohol in their blood. As the nightlife in the cruise liners is far from esxciting, I would have liked to try the places where the locals party, but that was not possible.

Party lovers are at home here in the southern part!
There are many local and international restaurants, bars and of course night-clubs - just walk around and choose. Eating out can still be very cheap, and typical Canarian food can be found at most of the numerous bars and restaurants once you leave the main tourist areas - generally the ones with garish strip lighting, plastic tablecloths and the TV blaring are the best!
Try local dishes such as:
* PAPAS AGUARDIAS - Canarian Potatoes boiled and coated in rock salt
* SALSA MOJO PICANTE - Tasty hot Chilli based sauce/dip
* POLLO CON AJO - Tender Chicken in a delicious Garlic sauce
I feel on FIRE after tasting that SALSA MOJO PICANTE!

Nooctua is the best place to spend your evening. But not if there's some band playing, then it costs a lot just to get inside.
I didn´t really like the main street. Too much people. I didn't feel safe. I prefer just a few good places than lots of bad ones!

Heavy nightlife is particularly present in Playa de Las Americas and if you don’t mind being with noisy, drunken (English) tourists, that’s the place to be ! As far as we are concerned, this is not what we expect from our vacations.

The nightlife is mainly based around the hotels. It is worth noting that you can go into the other hotels to sample their evening entertainment.
The quality varies enormously depending on that evenings performer.

In all the tourist areas in all the islands there are more pubs and clubs than you could shake a stick at. One good pub for mad nights, is the Calledonian Bar in Veronicas (las Americas Tenerife).
Mayhem and mad DJ's

The Chinease restaurant 'Show boat II'in Caleta de Fuste was superb we had a banquet for three and it only cost 9.95 euros each, roughly £6. In China town in Manchester the same meal would have come to at least £100 in total.
