  • If going to Fuerteventura, take lots of warm clothes as it can be very windy, particularly at night. However, don't be misled by the winds during the day, use plenty of suncream.

Tablets to help sickness and diahorrea. I know, I know, it's the last thing you want to think about when you're packing, but believe me, it'd be worth it if you had any problems.

  • Tip Rating:
  • Just bring your summer clothes when you go somewhere between May and September. Bring an extra sweater and a pair long trousers during the rest of the year. Basically the weather will be fine. The great thing on being on an island is that it never seems too hot, because there's always a very pleasany sea breeze. This is also the tricky thing: You can get sunburn easily and you won't notice it. Just look at the many red English tourists for proof. (no offense, just kidding). So, always use a good sunblock and don't forget to re-apply it once in a while!!
