Belen Donate: Every Day is Shoes-day

If you're a girly shoe-lover, like me, you'll adore this shop.

I happened upon it while rambling aimlessly (which is sometimes the best thing to do on holiday) along the seafront. My eye was captured by the most wonderfully pretty ladies shoes I had ever seen.

On wandering into the shop I discovered bags, scarves, some costume jewelry, and other accessories to make you look like a princess, even when wearing the plainest outfit.

The shoes look as if they're hand-made, and most of them are adorned with hundreds of tiny flowers or elaborate beading.

I came away with just two pairs - one pair of pink sandles where the straps are comprised of tiny pink rosebuds; the other pair are silver with daintily dangling silver beads along the ankle straps and, of course, a matching bag.

I wanted to buy so much more though. They come in myriad colours - turquoise, lemon, red, orange, bright blue, then the more commonplace colours like black and white. But even the monochrome shoes look spectacular.

The majority of shoe shops stock mainly sensible shoes, boots, and sandles, with a sprinkling of glamour models. This store is the exception, as every single pair is a work of art.

Bring a big suitcase, a healthy credit card, and be prepared to spoil yourself.

    What to buy: Shoes!

What to pay: About ?200 - ?250 per pair.
