Laredo's old town is full of "casonas" nobiliary residences with the coats of arms of the family in their facade. This one is known as the Palace of Zarauz, situated in the Cachupín square.
There are a number of routes that you can do in the green hills that surround the town. From these hills, the views of the bay and the old town are breathtaking.
The outskirts of Laredo are full of rural charm. This is a picture of the romanesque church of Saint Martin and its fabolous bell tower with place for seven bells.
