Well, it's not bad, I must confess... but believe me, there are lots of places in Santander wher you can eat better fish food...
ASk the locals about "La Maruca"... it's a little beach located north of Santander full of little restaurants

Tipping is optional in Spain. Locals tip rarely and when they do is normally about a euro for a lunch/dinner and about 25 cents for a drink.

Remember: This is not Spain you used to know. There is no Flamenco culture like in Andalucia so you shouldn´t expect too much. Beware of Flamencoshows
