Corral de Comedias
The Corral de Comedias is the only 17th century theatre that retains its original structure.
Corral, in this case, means a yard surrounded by private houses and it is still used for dramatic performances (old Spanish comedies from the Golden Age of Spanish literature and other countries).

This is a unique kind of square in Spain, completely different from the many others main squares you can find throughout the country and the reason is that the project was drawn by German architects at the times of Carlos V.
Rectangular shaped, open at one end, where a small park stand, and closed on the opposite side by the building of the ayiuntamiento, it's closed on the longest sides by two rows of buildings with green roofs and windows, held by Tuscan columns. Only two alley depart from the square: the Callejon del Toril, white and flanked by some small shops, and - opposite - the Callejon del Villar, a cul de sac with a nice view over the square.
Corral de las Comedias
This is a beautiful relics of the past: an open air theater built in 1628, where comedies and dramas have been performed since that time.
National Monument since 1955, it hold the original structure, and it's the only original one in Europe.
You can visit it and it's interesting, more if you hire an audio guide and listen to the many interesting details and histories.
Iglesia de San Agustìn
This church is not a masterpiece, but with its red brick walls stands strongly just at the side of the green and white façades of Plaza Mayor and makes a strong contrast with them.
In the church the are interesting baroque frescoes.
Iglesia de San Agustín (Church of St. Augustine)
This church was ordered to build in 1.625 by the Figueroa family, but works began at the beginning of the 17th century being finished in 1.719 although the cloister was still under construction.
Iglesia de La Madre de Dios
Late gothic style, it was built where the Hospital de Nuestra Señora La Mayor once was. Works began in 1.543 and finished in 1.602.
Plaza Mayor (Main Square)
This is the main spot in Almagro, and it is flanked by houses with arcaded passages and rows of balconies.
