As our two week trek through Northern Spain was coming to an end, Julie realized that we hadn't yet had any mushroom tapas. Surely, this would be a crime. And so on a rainy night in Burgos we scoured the city for them.
We scored at Meson Burgos! We not only had them al ajillo, but some giant stuffed caps. Those were amazing.
We were happy.

Nearly everyone under the age of 35 go out drinking at night. Wander enough and you can find live music, dj sets, 60's mod rock, punk, and radio pop within qa few feet from eachother. One good street to walk down is the one that runs directly behind the catedral along the hill. The bar on the corner of that street and the north east corner of the catedral has punk music somenights, other nights, hip hop, and other nights jungle and techno. Next to that is an old Communist bar. During the summers you will often find the city's punks hanging out on the steps leading up from the bottom of the Catedral and down the street.
Dress Code: It depends on where you are going but in most cases there was no dress code.
