Favorite thing: Stone, wood and clay have not succumbed in Candeleda to the allmighty concrete. Lots of plants in the balconies is just what they need to make the place more cozy.

Favorite thing: If there is a distinct feature of Candeleda, it must be its panelled wooden galleries that line the town's main street.

Favorite thing: All the Candeledean streets have small creeks that help to evacuate rainwater and provid freshness in the hottest hours of midsummer days.

Favorite thing: The temperature was pleasant, the decor picture-perfect, with simple paysan houses and plant pots all around. However, not a single soul was around while we were strolling in Candeleda. A whole town just to ourselves.
