Quite a few things to see in Covarrubias although you have to be there at the right time (siesta have priority over everything here).
The collegiale church dates from the 15 c. and holds the remains of Ferdinand Rodriguez and his wife Dona Sancha. Unfortunately we missed the opening times and the museum.
Unusual to see a celtic cross on the plaza in front of the Torreon.

After making your way through the massive entrance arch, the street opens out onto a small plaza with your first views of the half timbered houses. The entrance arch also houses the municipal archives. A couple of hours are necessary to stroll around Covarrubias, to the Torreon Dona Urraca, the colegiate church and down to the river.
