Favorite thing: This beautiful building,was designed by Antonio Gaudí,and now is a Bank!,is located in the center of León.It is located nor far from the cathedral and in this square you can find also a car parking.

Favorite thing: See the Cathedral,one of most importants in Spain,built between 13th-14th in Gothic style.,has some interesting museums,and 1.800 sq. of policromed glasses,in the beautiful High Windows.

Favorite thing: Not far from the Cathedral starts the area called Old Town of Leon.You'll find some narrow streets and a few interesting things to see.Don't miss a visit to Leon's Parlament Building,there are also some guided tours and in English available aswell.Walking by the old and new cities you'll find also some rotundas or squares with a nice fountain on it like this one.
There is a place in the old town called "Barrio Humedo" (Wet Quarter) it is named this name because the numerous bars and restaurants that you can find walking by the narrow streets.This is a very nice place of the city to try some of the Spanish Tapas or a nice meal,you'll find a lot to choose from!!.

Favorite thing: The first thing that you'll see when you leave the Park of Condesa de Sagasta is this beautiful building of Parador de San Marcos,it is located in the square of same name,is a nice and big square,at the end of the building you'll find a smaller one,don't miss a visit there is Leon Museum.

Favorite thing: This beautiful reinassance building,it was an old monastery,after a big refurbrishing,now it is one of best hotels in the city.If you have the chance ,will be a very good idea to stay here during your visit to Leon.

Favorite thing: Visit this beautiful Park: Paseo de la Condesa de Sagasta,next to Bernesga river.This beautiful and huge park starts in the old town folowing the river and finished on San Marcos Square where is located the Parador.Is a nice place also to have a break or to take some good pictures.

Favorite thing: This is another nice building located at Cathedral Square.This huge and nice square has also other nice buildings to see,as the one I show you on the picture.Around the square you'll find also some shops,and cafeterias,this is a nice place to have a break and have some rest and a drink.

Favorite thing: This is one of largest and most beautiful Cathedrals in Spain.Of course if you are visiting Leon,you must to see the Cathedral.It has the most beautiful and colorful stained glasses of all the Cathedrals in Spain. Also it has a very nice and interesting museum,there are some guided tours available.

Favorite thing: Leon was founded as a roman military camp of the Legio VII Gemina.
There is not much roman rests left, as it was just a military base, but still some tombs remain. You can see most of them in the cloister of the San Marcos Parador.
