Ryanair now do cheap flights to here which is great but the airport itself is outside of the town. As soon as you get off the plane there is a booth that says tickets- three euros for a bus which brings you directly to the awful bus station( which is also outside of the city centre). Try to get to it as fast as you can cuz if the luggage bit is filled they won't let you on!
If you can't be bothered rushing for the bus- get a taxi to wherever you want in the city centre for 15 Euro approx. Leave a Comment

From Salamanca we took the raod to Valladolid and we got to Olmedo, we took a very old road until Peñafiel visiting all the castles, just great! Leave a Comment

The main tourist trap in the city is the time schedules. Many museums, monuments ... open few hours every day. If you want to visit some of them, check first when it is opened.

If you can avoid a wait in this station -do it- it's is the most boring bus station in Spain- I think! However there is a cafe with a very friendly waiter but it still bores you stiff!
Bring a great book, go to pizza hut around the corner or better still go to the sex shop across the road- never went myself but heard it was fun! Leave a Comment
