Planes arrive and depart from terminal A at Barcelona and there are flights from various airports around the UK.
The flight took around 2 hours 15 minutes (from Liverpool).
My flight in June left very early in the morning but it did allow for almost a full day in Barcelona.
The aircraft (a modern Airbus A319) was clean with plenty of snaks and drinks available on board.
It is also well worth paying a few extra £'s to get speedy boarding, this allows you to be one of the first 20 to board the aircraft and choose your own seat. Leave a Comment

You can fly each day to different prices.
To Reus the flight starts at 10:00 am. You arrive Reus Salou at 12:10 pm
On Wednesday you have to pay 49.99 € plus 2.50€ Credit card fee plus 13.19 € taxes.
You can take an insurance 14.00 €.
You can although take a flight to Girona twice a day. In the morning and in the evening.

Airport is quite some distance from city centre and traffic is majorly congested on way in.

In order to get into the Barcelona itself you can take a shuttle bus directly to the Estacio del Nord bus station. There is a ticket booth on the main concourse at arrivals, right next to the car hire places. Leave a Comment Theme: Airplane

El Prat Airport in Castelldefels is the closest to Barcelona. The second Barcelona airport which operates many low-cost airlines is much further from the city, it's actually in Girona.
El Prat has a good connection with the city center. The shuttle bus going to Plaza Cataluña (with a stop at Plaza de España or Sants) leaves every few minutes. In the rush hour, by the time one bus gets full, the next one is coming but still you need to count the queuing time which was at least 20 minutes in my case. It costs 7euro one way.
There is also a tren (Cercanías) going from the airport to the Sants station. Theme: Airplane

Get cheap flights to Barcelona. Airports in the area include Barcelona (BCN). When you fly to Barcelona you can take in Temple de la Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, Las Ramblas, Casa Mila, La Pedrera, Barri Gotico, Cathedral La Seu, Casa Batlló, Barceloneta / Beaches, Parc de la Ciutadella and Monument a Colon (Columbus).
