Parc Guell, Barcelona
Visit Parc Guell, Guadi's work at it's most impressive. The park was originally to have been a housing development but it all went wrong and the money ran out so it became a park for the people.
The colour and shapes are out of this world, not a straight line anywhere.
Fondest memory: We arrived in Barcelona on a Sunday afternoon and La Ramblas was packed with people. All types of street performers were set up, busking for money. On a huge round-a-bout in the centre of Barcelona a band was set up busking and hundreds of people were gathered around, dancing to the music. To see people joining in and dancing in the street was just amazing and says a lot about the spirit of the spanish people, they like to have fun.
Favorite thing: See the Parc Guell, designed by Gaudi and easy to get to on one of the tourist buses that stop at all the major tourist sites. On the day that we were there a 'busker' was playing violin in an colonnaded area - the acoustics were fantastic.
Visit Park Gruel. Take some luch and beers and chill out for a while on the most comfortable chairs you'll ever find in a park (and grooviest I must add).
Fondest memory: Dancing to the crack of dawn down at the Leisure centre clubs. They had a instructor in the club teaching everyone how to salsa. Yeehhhhhh It was so much fun.
Another great Gaudi attraction. dont make my mistake!

Visit Parc Güell - it is so beautiful! Take your time to walk around and look for the spiralled columns. Say hello to the little dragon on the first step near the entrance.
Fondest memory: Sitting outside a street cafe under a blue sky, having a coffe and enjoying the view of La Segrada Familia - in January!
Favorite thing: The best views of Barcelona that we enjoyed were from Parc Guell towards the sea and from the roof of the Palau Guell - truly breathtaking!!
Favorite thing: Here is another view of Parc Guell and Gaudi's amazing buildings... Everywhere you looked there were strange buildings and creations... :)
Favorite thing: Parc Guell...it was interesting but a long way away from the Bus Turistic stop...if you go on that bus and think you can have a quick look, think otherwise... ;)
Favorite thing: Walk around the art side... in Parc Guell, famous for its odd-shaped buildings. Fantastic is a simple word to describe this site.
If you go to Guell park don't miss the roof.
You can see there the sea....
Some times in the morning there are concerts, the acoustic is fantastic.

Fondest memory: It's a park out of imagination...(More pics are in Travelogue ^^)
Visit all the Gaudi masterpieces: Park Guell, Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo, Casa Mila.
Here is: Park Guell. Looks like it was made from Gingerbread
Pose for a picture at the Stairway.
Fondest memory: The monumental stairway emphasizes the importance of the footpath to the garden city's community areas: the market and the square.
Appreciate the beauty of the architect.
Fondest memory: The Hypostyle Hall was intended for the garden-city's market. It was formed by 84 columns. The picture shows the mosaic designs on the ceiling.
