Favorite thing: The famous discoverer Columbus is looking down on everybody who is coming from or going to the harbour. The statue is at the end (or beginning?) of the Ramblas.
There is a lift to a viewing platfom in top of the statue. Open from 10-13:30 and 15:30-18:30.

Favorite thing: Again we discovered Barcelona by foot. It are long distances but it's really worth it. You see so much more from this amazing city.
Fondest memory: Walking in the area of the harbour gives you the feeling that the world is open for you. It's also the place where Columbus came back in 1493. As a reminder there is a big statue.

Favorite thing: See the statue of Christopher Columbus, the second European man to discover America after Leiv Eriksson, who was there 500 years earlier. But when Chris returned, he came to Barcelona with all his hard earned treasures.
