Just accross the street from Danzatoria Tibidado, there is this gigantic bar set around a grand villa.
Sophisticated and stylish, interior décor is hacienda-on-sea, although we’re high in the hills here, sitting under palms in an expansive garden overlooking the city. The clientele is classy and well-heeled - but would say not as glamour as Danzatoria which still remains my favorite in Tibidado.
Glamour club-bar in a beautiful house on a suburban hillside frequented by the 'Barca florinata' - that’s the posh crowd.
Upmarket and sometimes a little posey the house is actually an old family palazzo, three floors of which have been turned into a club-bar by the offspring of the owners who also run the sexy more minimalist Club Danzatoria down by the port.
Stays open until after 3am and there’s no charge. Sexy Spanish decadence doesn’t get much better than this.
Dress Code: Definitely dress up for this one!
This is an area with a lot of bars, restaurants and nightclubs. It is located on the Tibidabo hill, a fancy area of the city, so the places there are gonna be also a bit fancy. But it could be interesting to go there, it is beautiful and if you go to the top, specially at summer, there are some spots (Mirablau, for example) with awesomes views on the city.
It is a bit difficult to reach there at night in public transportation, but you can take a taxi.
Dress Code: It depends on the place, it use to be a bit "nice"..
At the top of Tibidabo there is a bar/club with a wall of glass looking down on the city. It is really beautiful.
The only problem with this bar is that the cable car stops very early in the evening. So be prepared to walk the thin sidewalk up the side of the mountain.
Totally worth the effort though...
This bar offers a great view of the city. There is a small disco downstairs.
To get there, you can take a bus from Plaça de Catalunya (Bus n° 22 for example) until Avingunda de Tibidabo. Then you can take the blue tram (tramvia blau) to get to the Plaça Doctor Andreu (2,90 €) or you can walk. On the way, you'll see beautiful houses from the beginning of the century.
This is not a touristic place (or it wasn't) at all and it is a little apart from the center, but has a niiiice view. It's near Tibidabo, located on the lower station of the Tibidabo Lift.
You can go at day to have a drink or at night to dance, although at night is full of people. Recommended.
Located at the Tibidabo-hill, the terrace of this café gives a fantastic view over the city at night. In the distance you see the illuminated Palau National at the Montjuic, with its leaserbeams that move over the city. And yet, being at 500 meters above the city, there's a serene silence everywhere around you. The prices are a bit dissapointing: take enough money with you!
Mirablau (something like 'look at the blue')
It is located in the hill of Tibidabo, so the view is amazing. Commercial music, 60's, 70's, 80's, funky music, ...
