    Las Ramblas of course...

The best kept secret street of Barcelona ;-)

The Rambla is, of course, the best known landmark of Barcelona, and deservedly so. Meandering down from the Plaça de Catalunya to the Columbus statue, filled with newspaper kiosks, flower and animal stalls, and all sorts of artists, it is undoubtedly the place where everyone comes together, both tourists and locals, from the most inconspicuous to the most exaggerated representative of all sorts of urban tribes.

    Living Statues

As you walk along the Ramblas U can see many street artists performing various shows. One of the more popular are these "living statues", persons in disguised, frequently painted in metallic colours, who stand still for a while. When U stop and throw them a coin, they make a slow "mechanical" movement to thank you for your contribution.

    Food Market

We just look from the main entrance, but we did´t go in to this market place. I think it would have been nice place with great atmosphere. But now I don´t know. Next time I will visit there.
