This triumphal arch marks the entrance to the city from the Parc de la Ciutadella and was built for the 1888 Universal Exhibition. Created in the Mudejar style, the red brick glows in the sunlight, showcasing the allegorical sculptures on the frieze. It certainly makes a pleasant gateway to home with your weekend shopping!

If you're not in a hurry, please take your time to walk, and to sit and having a look around. The smallest details are the warmer, just take your time to find the real world under the touristic fasade of the big things. Many tourists see the Parc Güell as a photo-and-go place; locals bring their children to play, have some jogging in the morning, or just enjoy of a peaceful time resting away from the city life, reading some book or having some nice views... well, I live not far away, and I know, it's a good place when you have to think or relax :)

There is a fantastic PArk at the top of the city known for young people as EINA! Nice place to loss an afternoon smoking with friends. To arribe there just take the bus no 65 and leave it at the last stop. See u there!

The Laberint Park is located on the northern part of the city. It helds several atractions such as a big mansion, fountains and beautiful landscapes. I highly recommend to visit this place, especially on wednesdays since the entrance is free.

Font de Canaletes in Barcelona. This fountain, located at the end of la Rambla, at Plaça Catalunya, is very known among Barcelona inhabitants and those who are not! It is said that if one drinks from this fountain will return to Barcelona someday! Why don't you try??? It is a very good way to assure you another trip to the magic city of Barcelona!!!!

After a long day spent visiting the city and its many monuments enjoy some rest time in this green relaxing oasis. There are many benches to sit on and just look the world go on.

Turo Park
A small park in the middle of the city is home of this nice sculpture. This park is perfect to go there and relax.
