Know about this?
Luggage and bags: Pack light when traveling to Barcelona, especially if you want to use public transportation. It makes your life much easier when jumping on and off the trains for example.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Barcelona's climate is quite temperate to bordering tropical with it's location on the Mediterranean. Bring your summer clothes with you even as late as October, but pack some warm clothes for the cool Mediterranean nights.
Photo Equipment: A city as picturesque as Barcelona must be captured on film or digital media. I strongly suggest you bring a camera with either lots of film or lots of storage space (for digitals). You will find a whole lot to photograph in Barcelona and you don't want to be stuck having to take a mental picture.
Miscellaneous: A good guidebook will help you tackle the city. It's a tremendous city with a whole lot to see. Try to plan your trip and your itinerary in advance so that you just might make the best use of your time there. I think you could spend a whole month in Barcelona just sight seeing and still leave wanting to see more.
Luggage and bags: There are pickpockets working the tourist areas, so if you normally choose a money belt to deal with this, bring it along.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Some of the ancient street of Barri Gotic may be uneven, so bring some comfortable (rubber soles) shoes.
Photo Equipment: Are you kidding me? Don't even think about leaving your camera at home!
camera, sunprotection, coins
Luggage and bags: Just a smal backpack!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Comfortable shoes are a must. I like to walk a lot through a place I wanna explore. So I need shoes which will not make me stop.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: When taking the touristic bus, you can sit upstairs. And when sun is burning, a good sunprotection is an absolute must!
Photo Equipment: a digital camera or lots, lots lots of films.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Don't forget the coins for the pantomimes on the Ramblas!

Bring your cameras and journals, very inspiring!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Only been there in November and highly recommend layering. T shirts (short & long sleeved), shirts, sweater or vests. A water repellent jacket and definitely a nice coat. I loved using my scarf. I like bringing jeans, khaki and black pants. The shoes have to be walking shoes, the best kind to protect the ankles. The floor varies from stone to brick and believe me I came back with swollen ankles but no regrets. I walked for miles everyday (60+ easy).
Photo Equipment: There is lots to capture in film so bring from home if you want but I saw an abundance available everywhere. For example I took 450 pictures in 6 days and know should have taken more. Will return soon for more.
Miscellaneous: If you draw or write this city will inspire you, trust me. If you keep scrapbooks grab souvenirs from each place you visit. A napkin, business card, newspaper scrap, etc. Material to incorporate into your memories.
