Vegetarian supermarket, tapas bistro, buffet and restaurant at one location. There are upstairs and downstairs restaurant areas to the back with the lunchtime buffet around E8.50.
I ate and drank at the front where at the long bistro counter (there also are high bistro tables and chairs) . A range of vegetarian tapas are available, individually or as platters (E6-7), and some prepared dishes (I had 'hamburguesa vegetal amb pan integral' (veggieburger in wholemeal toast E2.50) and a few glasses of wine (E0.95) as I read the paper (Super Barca! 3-0 vs Inter!) and watched the afternoon roll by outside.
The street it is on, Via Laetana, must be lane for lane, the busiest road in Barcelona. Also another branch at Gran Via 603 and 2 in Madrid. Open 0800-2330.
