We were travelling in barcelona for a week, mostly eating sandwiches & junk food and we really missed some fresh and healthy food when we found this place.
the guy at the counter explained in good english what is included and we paid 11.95 euro per person (at weekend, 9.95 euro all week).
we took some soup, salads, beef stew, pizza, beer and fruit salad. The food is not the best quallity but it's Definitely value for money.
When we said we'll come back tommorow, the woman incharged gave us a discount coupons for 1 euro per person, and we used it the day later.

A nice lace for lunch, to take a break while sightseeing. It's an all you can eat restaurant, for 9.95 euro you have salads, fresh vegetables, pizza, pasta, fish, meat, it also includes drink, coffee, ice ceam and fruits. The food is basic but worth the price. We went there several times for lunch, you can also have dinner there it will cost you 10.95 euro.

My friend who lives in Barcelona took me to know this restaurant, because i was sick of junkie food, that its something you eat a lot when you are traveling...
You can find one in many locations, the price is for person, it includes drinks too, the buffet has a lot of salads, pasta, pizza, and main courses, desserts and coffee, and you can repeat any of this options from the buffet.
Fresh, healthy and tasty food for a good price, you don't find this in Europe everywhere...

The "FresCo" is all you can eat buffet. Salads, soups, pizzas, pasta, daily meal, dessert, coffee and drinks. It cost about 9 euro and it was very good ( in "maremagnum" 10 euro and the food was very poor).
Favorite Dish: We like the fish, but not all the fresco restaurant give a fish.

No other place to go if you are hungry and want to be satisfied for this money!
The mens toilet was dirty one monday afternoon I went there.

This is another open buffet restaurant in Barcelona.There are many choices for you around Barcelona.We went to one that is near Las Ramblas opposite Duc de Medinaceli Plazza.

buffet style restaurant open lunch & dinner..if you get a free tourist map there are icons on the map showing fresc-co locations... if yr on a tight budget and HUNGRY, this is the place for you. Food was gd and saw loads of local spanish using it at lunch. Also have pasta, soup and salad all included.

This chain of restaurants started in Barcelona some years ago and expanded very quickly. Now there are at least 6 of them around Barcelona, and some in Madrid and other Spanish cities.
They offer fixed prices for lunch & dinner, only all-you-can-eat-buffet (about 8€ lunch, about 10€ dinner or weekends). This includes:
- salads (their strongest point: great variety, really fresh products)
- soup (usually quite good, hot or cold according to season)
- pizza (4-5 varieties, not bad)
- day specialities (highly variable)
- desserts
- coffee/tea
- and the first glass of water/soft drink/wine or beer.
The desserts are quite poor, but probably you don’t have much room for it!
In the ones in the city centre, be prepared to stand for a long queue unless you were at the door when opening for lunchtime (12:45h) or dinner (about 20h).
As a summary: Busy, noisy, crowded, but a good option for a healthy quick meal. You have take-away options as well.

We went to this "restaurant" just because we were running around on the harbor for about 2 hours and couldn't decide on a restaurant. Believe me - our choice was completely wrong.
It said "all-you-can-eat-buffet" outside and by the time we were hungry as hell. Therefore we decided to give it a try.
We had some salad, chicken and pizza. The pizza was not really warm and the chicken was actually COLD. My girlfriend was the one that ate the chicken and got really sick. This was not funny. Running around in a big city when you feel ***ty and have the badest stomach ache!
I don't recommend anyone to go there. I know, that it's not a good idea to go for a "all you can eat-Restaurant" in a city that offers various kinds of good local food, and we didn't expect much, but this restaurant was the worst I've ever been to.
Maybe we've just picked the wrong day, and if anyone has good stories to tell about this place then let me know, otherwise, don't go there.

What is Fresc Co ?
Fresco Co is a restaurant chain specialising in healthy eating. This shouldn't be considered 'fast food'.
If they are providing quick service at fast food prices they are also offering a varied menu and the atmosphere of an 'a la carte' restaurant. It's this combination that makes Fresco Co the leader in sales and consumption of salads, pastas and soups.
Opening Time : All day from 12.30 to 01.00
The only bad point is that it is noisy !
Favorite Dish: Fresco Co offers a buffet style menu consisting of :
Salad selection, multichoice pizza, homemade soups, Italian pasta, desserts, coffee and tea.
Their prices are 7,40 € at midday from Monday to Friday and 9,20 € at night, bank holidays and weekends.
