Here too you will get CATALAN = local food which is very, very good.

You know their taste for spices and they can work wonders.

I also love the smiling faces when they serve you as if you were a queen / king..

Favorite Dish: I once had a perfectly spiced sole, which was great.
Not too big for me, so.....I could manage...

The waiter praised me......like my mother used to do when I had finished my plate....

Located in the middle of the narrow streets of Barri Gotic, I had a very good memory of the fish I had eaten there. It was relatively simple but perfectly cooked, nothing more to add...
I went back this year (2009) with a group of colleagues and we haven't been disappointed, the food is still excellent!

A very charming restaurant set in the somewhat seedy Barrio Chino (Chinatown - although there's nothing Chinese about it). Agut has some good food but it's the atmosphere that I remember the most.
Go there for an adventure as you hurry along the streets - not really scared but not really comfortable. I felt more comfortable later on in the night, after dinner, when the street lights were on and there were various families walking around. At dusk, the narrow streets get dark and it does have that seedy look.
