  • Rita Blue: Great Mexican and lively atmosphere

    by NDMorrison06 Written Feb 21, 2012 1 reviews

The food was great - best Mexican Ive had in years! Service was prompt and friendly (and American!). Drinks were excellent as well. We will definitely return in the next few days!

Favorite Dish: Fajita with Tandoori Chicken - the right combination of spice and normal Fajita. Great Guacamole too!

Such a pit we spotted this place on or last night! Yet better late than never. Its such a charming place, full of coulours and great interior design. the menu and drinks were among the cheapest we could find. s pint of beer was Eu3.70 (compared to the usual price of a half pint for eu3.70!!). a lovely bottle of rose house wine: Eu 9. We ordered a starter and main course- juicy beef with roast potatoes and salad. the bill was very very reasonable. I felt so relaxed here, great music, great decorations and the staff were helpful and spoke some english (a rarity!)

Favorite Dish: Juicy beef and roast potatoes. the nachos in some sauce were delicious too

If you want a quiet dinner go around or before 8. Everyone else doesn't start showing up until at least 10 or 11pm. But that's the usual in Barcelona. Nice atmosphere, not far off la Rambla. Really tasty Margaritas (and I would hope so considering their name!)

Favorite Dish: I loved the Hummus appitizer! Perfect portion.

Rita Blue is a very nice place in the centre of Barcelona, 2 minutes walk from la Rambla, not too expensive and nice decoring. Mexican and mediterranean food.
taste the champiƱones chip they taste lovely! but is its too craweded they mights erve you not too fast so go when you have time and dont care at all to spend long time tehre, and its better to reserve specially on weekends cause theres a big demand.

    Favorite Dish: tomates verdes fritos
    champiƱones chip
    nachos mediterraneos
