The worst restaurant I have ever had the misfortune to dine in. The service was incredibly slow and the food (when it finally arrived) awful. The staff were rude and ignorant and the management even worse. When I complained Imy party and I were threatened with two car loads of men that pulled up outside the restaurant which was a terrifying experience. I rate the city but definately not this restaurant, a real nightmare on the whole.
Favorite Dish: Only ate half of my meal which cold and tastless!

Food terrible, staff rude, service slow.
We booked atable for 8:30 by 10:15 only 1/2 of us had eaten, they brought out the wrong dishes, refused to change them, brought us drinks without the alcohol yet charged us for them. They refused to discount the bill, then on leaving they put their bouncers on us and closed the shutters as we were leaving giving some of us bad injuries -we were in a group of women aged 25 -50 - not exactly used to being tretaed this way. Barcelona is a great city but Salsitas lets it down 100%
Favorite Dish: don't know waited for two hours and still didn't eat!!!!!

Stylish and trendy, this restaurant excells in the key areas of quality and ambience. The setting is a surrealist delight with its white stone palm trees and very modern feel. The menu is not extensive but offers a good selection, with such starters as Ox carpacio and tuna sashimi, as well as more tame offerings such as the green garden salad with "small contrasts". Main courses include the wonderful duck preserve with chestnuts in port, sea bass with star anise sauce, and other sumptious wonders of culinary pleasure. For desert you have to try the mango tatin with cardamoms. the price works out about 30 to 40 euros per head with drinks. Well worth it!
Favorite Dish: I loved the big lumps of raw tuna - great.

salsitas is one of those places that you could only find in barcelona. it's decor is stunning - a long corridor/bar leads you to a sumptuous colonial style white room where tables are laid out. in the corner is an oyster shaped dj box!. tony, the resident dj plays beautiful soul and relaxed house as people eat. at midnight on fridays and saturdays the tables are pulled back and salsitas becomes a club! dj sideral plays every saturday with tony, they play only beautiful music, there's always a great mix of people and it's free in!
Favorite Dish: they serve really cool mediteranean salads, pastas and pizzas with a great drinks menu - very reasonable prices too

A club at night, but a very hip & stylish restaurant with dito waiters and waitresses in the evening. Nice interior with white palm trees and purple projections of citrus fruits on the minimalistic design of the place.
Favorite Dish: Starter
Little pile of fresh mozarella cheese and tomato slices dipped in a cinnamon & blood orange juice.
Dessert
White chocolate mousse in a special cream with fresh raspberries and a little spiral-shaped dough creation by the chef.
