Maremagnum is a big shopping centre and, in addition, it is located in a wonderful area. It was constructed over the Mediterranean sea and it enlargues "Las Ramblas" being called "Rambla del Mar". It's not a high building but it's very wide. It's next to the marina and the Yacht Club as well as other attractions like the Aquarium and the IMAX cinema. You must arrive here walking though a wooden footbridge.
El Maremagnum es un gran centro comercial y, además, se encuentra en una zona maravillosa. Se construyó sobre el Mar Mediterraneo y alarga "Las Ramblas", llamándose "Rambla del Mar". No es un edificio alto, pero tiene mucha superficie. Está junto al puerto deportivo y el Club Náutico, así como junto a otras atracciones como el Acuario o el cine IMAX. Debes llegar aquí caminando sobre un puente de madera.
There are a lot of shops here with the main international brands of fashion, complements, books or decoration. There are cafeterias, restaurants and cinemas as well.
Hay muchas tiendas con las principales marcas internacionales de moda, complementos, libros y decoración. También hay cafeterías, restaurantes y cines.
There are regular prices, fixed for all the country.

This huge Mall is located by the sea, near the "Moll de Fusta" Harbour.
Here you can find many shops and restaurants, is very nice in summer to have lunch by a terrace here.
By night they have discos and clubs here as well, though the ambiance and lack of security make it a not very advisable place! Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Centro Comercial Glòries Virtual Visit
Centro Comercial Glòries is a semi-open air shopping mall so you can enjoy the beautiful weather. You will find everything you need here from shops (Zara, Mango, Levi's, C&A, H&M, Pepe Jeans, etc) to supermarket (Carrefour), restaurants, movies, etc.
It is big (more than 250,000 m2, 54,000 m2 only with shops and the leisure space), but there are lots of place to rest such as benches (outside) and sofas (inside).

Monday to Saturday: from 10 AM to 10 PM.
Restaurants and leisure:
Monday to Sunday: from 10 AM to 1 AM.

High class designer shops with all the big labels. Some small shops have an exclusive selection of dresses - one off designs only in 3 sizes usually size six eight and ten. Even if you are like me and not a shopper - if you pass by pop in and have a look, but don't forget the check the price ticket first.

Well here we are at one of the favourite department stores of tourists as well as the locals! I love shopping here at Mango, it´s just the place to try on all those fashionable clothes, so much sale through out the summer.
Tops, pants, pocketbooks, skirts, heavy jackets, name any clothing you would need and you would find it in Mango.
On a trip or a vist at Mango, specially those people that do not have a Mango store in their country they can spend at least between 300 to 400 Euros. It´s okay as it´s all worth it... There are more than 100 shops here with many cafes and restaurants. You will find both expensive and reasonably-priced articles.
Its also so a wonderful place to visit the restaurants and cafes.
Everything you want-clothes, food, sport wear, stationary, and all other things. This is probably the best place for shopping in Barcelona for tourists with limited time.

Barcelona’s L’illa shopping centre is in the centre of the city on the Av. Diagonal. You can notice it because it is built in a very modern style with lots of glass and metal. Inside it is like a large long 2 level corridor which is quite sterile looking ot be honest.
It has over 130 fashion and accessories, over 4.000 m2 dedicated to sports and more than 3,000 m2 dedicated to music and literature. There are travel agencies, Restaurants, Cafes, tourist information points and a few craft shops.
I recommend going down to the basements level too, as there was a huge food market there. They are permanent shops made to look like a market. There were so many cheeses and meats around. The prices were reasonable as well.
A lot of stuff: Clothes, shoes, accessoires, glasses, flowers, what have you.

The famous store is situated at Plaza Catalunya so if you are interested in electronic gadgets, books, cd/dvds you know that this is your place. It was quite packed with people in some parts of it thought.
It is also the place that you can buy tickets for major events/concerts. I have booked my tickets for the Priest Feast online and I came here to take my tickets.

I found the best department store of Barcelona to be Diagonal Mar, located off-center, in the east end of the Av. Diagonal. It has all a real shopper wants :) And that included a good meal after the walk and shop :)
Clothes, shoes, electronic and household items (I spent over two hours looking at some photo equipment), music .. all in one big department store.
I found here shops that sell own names, like C&A, with very nice prices. You can't shop from another place :) Diagonal Mar it's simply the best shopping place in Barcelona.
